Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Santa Fe Springs, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:

Prepare and record payroll and revenue journal entries accurately and efficiently.

Perform reconciliations for general ledger accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Conduct detailed analyses and compile monthly financial statements.

Develop and maintain supplemental schedules to be included in monthly reporting packages.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and practices in all tasks.

Assist with month-end close processes and provide support for financial reporting.

Manage bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively.

Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

Utilize accounting software, such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, to perform daily tasks.

Support audits and provide necessary documentation as required. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with a strong focus on detail.

In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.

Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Experience in month-end close processes and account reconciliations.

Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar accounting software.

Previous experience working in multi-entity environments such as long-term care or real estate is preferred.
