Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Orange, California. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial operations and ensure accuracy in key accounting processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform accurate cash reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.

Assist in cleaning up and organizing financial records to maintain compliance and improve efficiency.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including tracking and reporting.

Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring proper documentation.

Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to verify account balances and transactions.

Collaborate with the manager and senior team members to address accounting challenges and implement solutions.

Maintain up-to-date financial records to support audits and reporting requirements.

Review transactions to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities as needed. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

Strong knowledge of journal entries and their impact on financial statements.

Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes and financial record organization.

Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with experience in NetSuite preferred.

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Effective communication skills to interact with team members and management.

Availability to start immediately and complete the contract term as required.
