Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support tooling development and processes alongside an internal test cell program. This dual-role position primarily focuses on enhancing tooling while collaborating with the team to develop and execute the test cell program.

Responsibilities

Develop, manufacture, and repair tooling.

Source vendors and qualify processes.

Catalog and convert blueprints for customized tools.

Execute and document root cause analysis reports.

Manage and maintain engineering equipment and tools, including 3D printers and plotters.

Adhere to quality, environmental, health, and safety protocols.

Manage, operate, and maintain test cells.

Compile data and execute appropriate reports.

Develop and execute new procedures.

Oversee the creation and repair of test cell-focused tooling and fixtures.

Support calibration program and inventory management.

Assist in engine repair efforts.

Edit and create manuals.

Essential Skills

Engineering degree.

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or repair-based environment.

Expertise in tooling and fixtures.

Proficiency in process improvement.

Strong root cause analysis skills.

Experience in the aerospace industry.

Calibration knowledge.

Certification experience.

Repair skills.

Familiarity with calipers and micrometers.

Work Environment

This is a fully onsite role from 9 AM to 5 PM, involving both office space and repair floor work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Margate, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $48.08/hr.
