Senior Accountant - Woonsocket, RI

Our client, a rapidly growing leader in equipment lifecycle management, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their headquarters team in Woonsocket, RI. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a company that plays a critical role in supporting the biotech, pharmaceutical, and life sciences industries.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the financial accuracy and operational effectiveness of the organization. Responsibilities include:

Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes

Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports

Maintain the general ledger and oversee account reconciliations

Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives

Analyze inventory, asset sales, and cost trends tied to equipment lifecycle activities

Assist with audits and ensure GAAP compliance

Identify process improvements in accounting workflows

Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, logistics, and leadership teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

3-6+ years of progressive accounting experience

Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close

Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel

Experience in manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, logistics, or asset-heavy businesses a plus

Ability to work on-site in Woonsocket, RI

Strong communication skills and a proactive, analytical mindset

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woonsocket, RI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
