Job Description

Responsibility

Follow all SAFETY procedures and all GMPs

Set-up presses to attain standard speeds with minimal scrap rate.

Set- up print jobs and maintain quality of print throughout the run performing wash-ups of plates and blankets, adjusting print pressures, and registration as needed.

Verify production paperwork for accuracy before, during, and after run.

Record production, scrap, and downtime on travelers.

Troubleshoot and adjust machines to maintain efficient production and report any problems to Printing Supervisor or Maintenance.

Clear unload and in-feed jams and return to production

Perform P.M. on machine according to P.M. form.

Maintain work areas for cleanliness and return all tools, rags, etc. to proper locations.

All other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

2 to 5 years hands on experience

High School graduate or GED

Strong commitment to safety

Mechanically inclined

Must have excellent attendance

Must PASS color blindness test.
