The Associate Director, Business PSP Design Launch Excellence is responsible for translating business strategy into actionable processes that enable the successful launch of new patient support programs, enhance patient experiences within existing programs, and drive operational efficiencies across brands.
This role serves as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between program design, technology enablement, and patient-centric objectives, while embedding governance, compliance, and continuous improvement practices.
This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.
Duties & Responsibilities
STRATEGIC & CROSS FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP
Translate business strategy into the assessment and design of processes required to launch new patient support programs and optimize existing ones.
Translate business trends and industry benchmarks into differentiated initiatives aligned to PSP enterprise objectives.
Drive efficiencies in program architecture across brands to support scalability in patient centric objectives.
Leads cross-functional teams' collaboration to design program capabilities across people, process, and technology.
Influence decision-making across cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions for patients.
OPERATIONS STRATEGY, EXECUTION & PROCESS OPTIMIZATION
Design and implement enterprise-level performance measurement framework to evaluate process effectiveness, program performance, compliance adherence, and operational efficiency.
Ensure delivery of the right information at the right time through preferred communication channels, aligned with program strategy, by continuously to review and refine processes to enhance patient and agent experience.
Demonstrated success in prioritization, organizational and analytical skills as well as the ability to create solutions for issues, gaps, and opportunities by managing projects and co-leading initiatives that drive organizational growth.
Partner with business teams to identify reporting and analytic needs for programs, enhancements, and new capabilities. Leveraging insights to identify opportunities for efficiency gains, cost savings, and improved communication across functions.
Identify new opportunities beyond current organizational thinking to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency. Ensure processes evolve with changing business needs and technology advancements.
Support program development and integration efforts with internal Technology Services, stakeholders, and external partners. Articulate detailed business processes and requirements to ensure seamless implementation.
GOVERNANCE AND COMPLIANCE
Design, implement and govern enterprise-wide PSP frameworks that ensure consistent compliant execution of patient support programs across the enterprise. Deliver auditable, risk mitigated processes aligned with internal policies and industry regulatory requirements.
Establish and operationalize governance communication protocols that drive cross-functional accountability, regulatory transparency, and strategic alignment across stakeholders. Inform dashboards and escalation pathways to drive timely decision-making and issue resolution.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (e.g. MBA, MSc)
At least 5+ years of Pharma industry knowledge, e.g., consulting, medical affairs, business design, product launches program and project management; patient services experience preferred.
2+ years' experience in Patient Services and/or pharmaceutical strategy and operations role
3+ years' experience in leading highly collaborative teams.
Excellent Judgement - regarding the "how," "what," and "when" of addressing Sr. Leaders and key stakeholders with sensitive issues
Proven experience and a strong understanding of what it takes to succeed in project management.
Ability to build relationships on mid and senior executive level and become a discussion partner and a trusted advisor on a broad range of management topics.
Ability to provide quality control and guidance on projects. Ability to oversee multiple projects running simultaneously.
