DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The State Crisis Intervention Program Specialist is responsible for providing professional support and analysis for programs aimed at behavioral and mental health, crisis response, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. This role includes leading the preparation, dissemination, and management of funding announcements related to these critical issues, particularly those initiatives funded by federal State Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP) dollars.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, reporting to the office 1 day per month. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Program Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Two years of analytical experience, one of which includes professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
