About Us

Heidelberg Materials is on the lookout for a proactive Sales Representative to spearhead our sales and marketing initiatives for Aggregate products in the Seattle market. The ideal candidate will strengthen our customer base and manage their pipeline and orderbook, ensuring accurate sales volume forecasts. This position is based in Bothell, WA, with necessary travel to various sites, and reports directly to the Area Sales Manager.

What You'll Get to Do

Identify and pursue new business opportunities for aggregates in the construction market.

Build and maintain relationships with customers, serving as the primary point of contact, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely resolution of issues and concerns. Educate customers on product features, specifications, and advantages over competitors.

Elevate existing customer relationships and target new business growth within the earthwork industry. Use technical skills to guide customers in the application of our products.

Manage the sales pipeline and orderbook to ensure accurate forecasting and timely delivery of products. Develop and track outcomes on strategic action plans and pricing strategies to drive business development.

Communicate effectively with the Operations team to ensure production can meet customer demands.

Essential Experience and Skills

High School Diploma or GED Certificate is required.

A post-secondary degree preferred.

Proven track record with at least 3-5 years of high-energy, successful sales and marketing experience.

Technical proficiency to understand and explain product specifications and applications.

Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent time management and critical thinking.

'Competitive base salary $104.220-$138,953 and participation in our annual incentive plan

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

Applicants must be residing in and currently authorized to work in the US.

Work Environment

This role is expected to be in the office, but mostly out in the market, visiting plants, customer offices, job sites, and prospecting future projects.

Ability to operate a variety of office equipment and computer systems; visual acuity required to read, verify, and enter various data from documents related to the work.

Travel within the greater Seattle area.

Have a valid State Driver's license with a clean and insurable driving record and be capable of maintaining a clean and insurable driving record.
