THE ROLE

The IT Security Specialist will play a key role in promoting cybersecurity awareness and supporting the organization's security program. This entry-level position focuses on delivering security training, conducting phishing simulations, and managing program metrics to ensure continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about cybersecurity education and program management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, coordinate, and execute phishing simulations to assess and improve user awareness.

Organize and deliver secure development training exercises for technical teams.

Create and distribute security awareness bulletins and enterprise communications.

Track cybersecurity program effectiveness through metrics and KPIs.

Communicate program performance and insights to key stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

0-2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT-related roles (internships or academic projects acceptable).

Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to create engaging security awareness content and deliver training sessions.

Experience with phishing simulation platforms and security awareness tools (preferred but not required).

Basic understanding of secure development practices and common vulnerabilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.

Strong analytical skills for tracking and reporting program metrics.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Hybrid in Conshohocken, PA or Frisco, TX
