As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Plant Patrol in Lima, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout the site. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and employees, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.

Report and document any observed irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences, according to Allied Universal procedures.

Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while on patrol.

Assist in implementing and upholding site policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
