As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Routes in Council Bluffs, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
