Making sure every part that leaves our facility is not only built to our customers specifications, but that it is proudly Made in the U.S.A.A Mechanical Engineer Designs, develops, and improves mechanical systems and manufacturing processes to enhance product performance, efficiency, and reliability. In a manufacturing environment, they collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to solve technical issues, optimize equipment, and ensure products meet engineering and safety standards.Job Duties:Create and refine mechanical components and processes using CAD software.Develop proto@types and oversee testing to validate design functionality and performance.Ensure components meet customer specifications.:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to support project objectives.Communicate technical findings and project updates to stakeholders.Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful execution.:Assist in the transition of components to production.Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve production challenges.Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.:Maintain accurate engineering documentation, including technical drawings, processes, and specifications.Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and regulations.Ensure compliance with Rands AS9100 Quality Management System:Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.Experience in Defense related Manufacturing is a plus.Experience with CNC machining is a plus.Prior Management Experience is a plus.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo).Strong analytical skills.Knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Strong communication and project management skills.Location: Falconer, NYBenefits offered: Paid time offHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceRetirement benefitsHealthcare spending/reimbursementPremier Precision Machining, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to fostering diversity in its staff, and strongly encourages applications from the entire spectrum of a diverse community.Job Type: Full-time
