Are you skilled at creating cross-channel digital marketing programs that deliver an innovative, relevant, and delightful experience for our target audience? We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing team and reach our customers, current and prospective, with stories and facts about Amazon Ads, across a variety of channels: including email, mobile, and our Ads UI. Key to success in this role are an ability to create, manage, and analyze digital marketing campaigns, and use the results to optimize and scale. You will be responsible for building, executing, and QA'ing digital experiences and reporting on results for a high-visibility global program.
The ideal candidate will be able to work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (creating and managing campaigns with marketing automation tools, analyzing customer engagement data, and solving problems). This role requires synthesizing customer insights, performance signals, and predictive models that inform campaign strategy and drive personalized, data-driven marketing experiences. The Digital Marketing Manager should be passionate about the customer and must have proven marketing automation experience, analytical capabilities, project management skills and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will need to be a strong communicator who can earn trust with key stakeholders across multiple teams and be able to automate and scale to drive personalized, @contextual, and relevant messages to customers.
This is a high impact, high visibility role and the ideal candidate would have experience working closely with marketing, product, analytics, and technology teams to build out and optimize programs over time. You will also cross-share learning with global teams to share best practices and insights. Key job responsibilities
Plan, create, and launch cross-channel marketing initiatives that drive adoption of Amazon Ads solutions.
Partner with data science teams to execute AI-driven, science-led customer journeys - translating predictive models and performance signals into personalized marketing communications
Leverage modern marketing automation tools to build multi-step campaigns that inform advertisers of new product developments, promotions, and optimization opportunities
Partner with program owners throughout Amazon Ads and own the channel strategy to iterate and test different ways to communicate key messages
Work and think cross-channel, targeting the messaging to the appropriate media or mix of media where necessary.
Optimize against key metrics including CTR, open rates, attribution metrics, and engagement to drive measurable improvements in customer experience and business outcomes
Leverage CRM tools to increase campaign performance.
Track best practices, monitor industry trends, and make recommendations
Provide clear, consistent, and frequent communication with stakeholders to outline strategy, tactics, goals, and performance of campaigns.
Basic Qualifications
4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience in multi-territory campaign management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with marketing tools including email, web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation platforms
Experience managing analytics, data science or technology teams, with a product or insight focus
Experience working with fast-moving, high-performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments
Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research
Knowledge of databases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, and ETL Manager and working with large data sets
Experience working with industry tools including Salesforce, Marketo, and online analytics packages

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
