As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Facility in Benton Harbor, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide excellent customer service. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as part of your duties. At Allied Universal, teamwork, integrity, and putting people first are central to everything we do.

What You'll Do:

Monitor and coordinate communications for the site, including receiving and dispatching information to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

Document and report incidents, unusual activities, and/or emergencies according to site-specific protocols.

Follow site-specific policies and procedures while carrying out security-related tasks within the manufacturing and industrial environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing support as needed.

Assist with access control by verifying credentials and managing entry and exit of personnel and vehicles.

Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or breaches.

Maintain detailed logs and records of all communications, dispatches, and incidents as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Supervisory experience is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
