What You'll Do:

Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors, following site-specific procedures.

Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and offering directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies, including responding to alarms and incidents.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.

Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
