Summary You will serve as a Fabric Worker in the Production Resources Department (900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will evaluate and fabricate a wide range of complex Containment Barriers throughout the shipyard. You will plan, organize, coordinate, and implement numerous quality-related requirements as they relate to design, fabrication, inspection, installation, and removal for both off-hull and in-hull enclosures. You will assess complex containment needs depending on the area located and the hazards involved. You will determine and develop the fabrication, methods taken, materials needed to create and install, lay out work and equipment used for preparation and construction of radiological and non-radiological barriers and enclosures. You will select, cut, shape, join, bond, fit and assemble containments. You will utilize your knowledge of theories, principles, techniques, and practices of design and drawing to work from both isometric and two-dimensional views.
