VETERANS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY This position is required to perform Electrical Engineering functions including design, assembly/construction, and testing of electrical systems and components. Responsibilities include developing work scope and plans/documents related to the maintenance and operation of electrical systems and site infrastructure.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/SCOPE OF WORK Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following established safe work practices and procedures; investigating and reporting identified safety concerns or situations. Adhere to standards contained in the Company Code of Conduct, Company EEO practices, and DOE directives. Coordinate the preparation, reviewing and evaluation of engineering documents. Coordinate engineering products, systems and programs development. Perform the evaluation, peer review and/or confirmation of adequacy of engineering products, systems and programs. Ensure the quality of the product, system and/or program. Coordinate preparing and scheduling to perform and integrate work. Maintain and increase professional technical knowledge and proficiency. Regular attendance is required. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience Grade 31: Minimum bachelors in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university. Minimum of six (6) years related experience in electrical engineering. Graduate degree in engineering may be substituted for some experience. Grade 33: Minimum bachelors in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university. Minimum of eight (8) years of professional engineering experience. Graduate degree in engineering may be substituted for some experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with industrial or commercial electrical distribution systems. Excellent communication skills. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. The salary and grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the candidates education, training, and/or relevant experience

Other Requirements: Must possess mastery knowledge of engineering theories, principles, techniques, policies, regulations, and legal requirements to apply theories and new technologies to successfully complete a wide variety of complex assignments. Must be able to identify and resolve a wide variety of complex assignments. Must possess highly developed organizational skills and be able to manage projects and special assignments to deliver results on time and within budget.
