Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in East Rutherford, New Jersey. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our clients while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage customer needs efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Prepare and provide accurate quotes to customers in a timely manner.

Process orders by entering them into the system and confirming details with customers.

Offer support to the Sales team by managing quotations, delivery updates, and order reports.

Address customer inquiries regarding order status, shipments, and any backorder situations.

Resolve operational issues related to deliveries, invoicing, and returns with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and sales departments to deliver top-notch customer service.

Participate in daily shipping activities, including preparing shipping documents and maintaining accuracy.

Conduct regular calls with customers to review service quality and address any concerns. Requirements - Proven experience in a call center or customer service role.

Proficiency in order entry systems and managing customer orders.

Strong ability to handle inbound and outbound calls effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with resolving operational issues and providing shipment tracking.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
