This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success.

As a Culinary Assistant at Elim Wellspring, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience by serving our residents, employees, and family members' meals. Meal times and good food will always be a very important part of everyone's lives! Our Dietary Department is a great group to work with and are valued by staff and residents alike. Come and work in a beautiful and rewarding setting while helping seniors enjoy their dining experience.

Position Type: On-Call working varied hours including weekends and holidays

Shifts Available:

Days 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Wage Range: $16 - $19 / hour depending on experience

Culinary Assistant Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.

Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.

Maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.

Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.

Assist with transporting/ transferring residents in wheelchairs (training will be provided).

Complete additional tasks as needed.

Culinary Assistant Qualifications:

Previous restaurant or healthcare experience preferred but not required! We will train!

Ability to stand for length of shift and lift up to 40 pounds.

Must be willing to work independently and be able to multitask.

Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.

Compassionate, positive attitude and team player.
