Description

We are looking for two dedicated and detail-oriented Sr. Administrative Assistant to join our team in Alameda, California. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial and grant management processes while working onsite in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will excel in handling budgeting, reporting, and compliance tasks with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Oversee financial aspects of grants, including creating budgets, forecasting expenditures, and allocating funds appropriately.

Prepare and submit comprehensive financial reports to grantors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to funding guidelines.

Monitor grant obligations and spending to maintain alignment with program objectives and deadlines.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial and grant-related regulations.

Utilize accounting software and financial tools to track and manage financial data effectively.

Support organizational operations by managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and handling inbound calls.

Assist in streamlining budgeting processes and improving reporting systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Maintain a high level of organization while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on grant status and financial progress.

Ensure timely submission of grant-related documentation and compliance with all funding requirements.

Requirements - Demonstrated experience in grant management or financial reporting, ideally within nonprofit, government, or educational settings.

In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and grant compliance requirements.

Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks or similar systems.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and ensure accuracy in financial data.

Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

High attention to detail to ensure compliance and accuracy in all financial processes.

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at various levels.

Familiarity with tools like ADP, CRM platforms, Concur, and Cisco Webex Meetings to support administrative tasks. TalentMatch®
