About the Role:
The Account Manager for the National Student Clearinghouses Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP) engages and supports educational organizations in their use of the PDPs data analytics tools for measuring and improving student outcomes. Such organizations may include individual colleges and universities, state systems and governmental agencies, intermediary organizations and education associations, and others that use Clearinghouse PDP data.
You will be a point of contact for your assigned accounts and will bring and acquire expertise to resolve issues that may arise for PDP users--or to channel those users to others for solution. For your accounts, you will be the PDP expert who helps them to use and understand the tool and who knows where to go to get answers to questions that may arise (when you cant answer those questions directly). You will also be expected to listen to customer needs and bring that feedback to product development teams, product operations and product implementations. You are an advocate for your accounts and are committed to the student success that they pursue.
Currently, this is a remote-first position, and this position may be required to periodically work on-site at our office and the frequency would depend on the department/division's requirements. Therefore, candidates must either reside within a reasonable distance to commute to our office or be willing to travel to our office in Herndon, when required.

Accurately and consistently record activities within Salesforce or other platforms as required.
Participate in major national and regional higher education industry themed conferences as appropriate.
Work with Manager to build territory, account, and opportunity plans to focus activities based on the mission and product priorities for PDP Program.
Work with teams that impact customer journey to identify opportunities to better serve accounts and user satisfaction. Raise issues as necessary and track issue closure
Contribute to the successful on time, on budget and in scope delivery of business initiatives.
Contribute to development and tracking of KPIs.
Work with Manager and Product Operations to ensure shared objectives are met in serving a client.

What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelors degree. A combination of education and experience including military service will also be considered.
3 years of professional experience in the education industry.
Experience:
working in, consulting with, or selling into educational institutions and/or educational organizations focused on measuring or improving student success.
with balancing competing considerations regarding data sensitivity.
Proven track-record of developing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Professional familiarity with data and its usage relative to Higher Education.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to learn new applications.

Additional Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Higher Education, Public Policy, or a related field in Social Sciences.
Profession knowledge of and/or experience with PDP.
Previous experience and proficiency with Salesforce.
Experience with large databases and data warehouse.
