Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Union City, California. In this contract position, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations and ensuring smooth communication between departments and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has excellent organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

Redirect service requests, such as tree trimming or permit inquiries, to the appropriate project managers or staff members.

Coordinate encroachment permit processes, including providing payment instructions, verifying payment receipts, and releasing approved documents.

Keep accurate and up-to-date logs of requests and corresponding actions.

Deliver exceptional customer service at the front counter and assist with general office tasks as needed.

Handle data entry and maintain administrative records to support office operations.

Answer inbound calls and address inquiries thoroughly and in a timely manner.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication.

Perform receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and managing correspondence. Requirements - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service.

Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role.

Proficiency in data entry and maintaining administrative records.

Familiarity with handling inbound calls and directing inquiries appropriately.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

All candidates will be required to undergo a screening process.
