Responsibilities Reviews and assesses changes or amendments to applicable policies, standards, directives or operations manuals to determine impact on squadron plans, policies, programs or operations. Applies comprehensive knowledge and understanding of information technology, intelligence operations, and logistics functions in developing and monitoring local policy and procedures of the squadron. Develops and implements plans and programs for monitoring and self inspection of squadron plans, programs and procedures in areas of computer network operations, intelligence, logistics and training. Serves as squadron standardization/evaluation evaluator. Performs analysis, evaluates and examines team members as applicable to determine degree of proficiency and adherence to team procedures and team coordination requirements. Determines applicability of established methods. Examines and evaluates alternative means of satisfying customer requirements. Studies and evaluates the merits of new tactics, techniques, and procedures with respect to their applicability to integration of the IO mission. Monitors performance of squadron personnel to ensure mission readiness. Performs other duties as assigned. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Experience, education, or training that approaches techniques and requirements appropriate to an assigned computer applications area or computer specialty area in an organization. Experience planning the sequence of actions necessary to accomplish the assignment where this entailed coordination with others outside the organizational unit and development of project controls. Experience that required adaptations of guidelines or precedents to meet the needs of the assignment. Experience preparing documentation on cost/benefit studies where is involved summarizing the material and organizing it in a logical fashion.
