Battle Management Software (BMS) Department in Ft. Wayne, IN is looking to hire a Software Engineer to be part of the Command and Control (C2) Software development/maintenance team.
What You Will Do
Be part of a successful team creating high-performance applications and be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for a large scale software development effort.
Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
Functional analysis of real world and test data
Collaboration with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter.
What You Will Learn
A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures.
Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.
Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
Experience developing software using Java/C++/Ada.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required.? U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in OO and scripting languages
Experience with developing, testing, and integrating software using Java / C++ or modern software development language.
Software development lifecycle experience using an Agile methodology.
Experience across the product development life cycle.
Well developed communications skills and team collaboration skills.
Self-motivated.
Proven ability and desire to facilitate career growth and knowledge transfer.
Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues.
Familiarity with MS Office.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
