Summary You will serve as a CYBER SECURITY SPECIALIST in the COMMAND INFORMATION OFFICE of NAVFAC OSF. PAY SCALE FOR LOCATIONS Washington Navy Yard, DC -$102,415-$133,142 Norfolk VA - $ 90,838-$118,092 Responsibilities You will support execution of the NAVFAC cybersecurity program through policy and program development, cost, schedule and performance analysis of ongoing and completed cybersecurity projects. You will enforce standardization and conduct quality assurance reviews. You will ensure all systems, networks, and Platform Information Technology are operating with the required authorization. You will engage in establish methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts. You will oversee and ensure that the appropriate security posture is implemented and maintained for command information systems and programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Creating and preparing documentation in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF) efforts.2) Developing technical requirements for assigned new or modified applications.3) Conducting risk and vulnerability assessment of information systems.4) Maintaining user documentation, electronic records and cybersecurity databases. 5) Providing guidance in implementing IT security policies and procedures in the development and operation of network systems and 6) Drafting information assurance (IA) policies, operating procedures and various reports to meet cybersecurity requirements.
