As an Armed Security Officer - Financial Lobby Entry Patrol in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution setting, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will perform routine patrols, remain highly visible to staff and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergencies.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents according to established protocols.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing assigned duties.

Support the implementation of security-related policies and procedures specific to financial institution environments.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A law enforcement officer license is required.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
