Devils Thumb Ranch is seeking ten (10) Banquet Servers to work during the period of April 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026. The position is full-time and seasonal. The worksites are located at 3530 County Rd 83, Tabernash, Colorado 80478 and 78786 U.S 40, Winter Park, Colorado 80482.
The role of the Banquet Server is to take orders from patrons for food or beverages, set up, execute, and break down event spaces according to expectations. In regard to "set up, execute, and break down event spaces according to expectations", the Banquet Server will work with other staff to set up tables by adding decorations, napkins, utensils and glassware by hand in designated meeting and wedding spaces on the property/ranch. At the end of meetings or weddings, the Banquet Server will work with other staff to break down event spaces by removing decorations, napkins utensils and glassware by hand. The equipment that the Banquet Server will use are trays for utensils and glassware and carts with wheels for tables and chairs; Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware. Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages. Collect payments from customers. Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff. Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes. Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request. Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning. Serve food or beverages to patrons and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required. Clean tables or counters after patrons have finished dining. Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, tidying up server station, taking out trash, or checking and cleaning bathroom.
Employees will work Mon-Sun, an average of 35 hours/wk. Must be able to work any 7-hour within the time frames of 6 am to 12 am any day of the week. Days off rotate, shifts vary, weekends and holidays are required. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, must be flexible, be able to communicate in English and be a team player. No minimum education is required for the Job.
On-the-job training is provided. Devils Thumb Ranch will provide workers with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no charge. No work experience is required. Daily transportation is provided at no charge.

The wage is $18.67 per hour. Overtime is available at a rate of $28.01 per hour. All deductions will be made from paychecks that are required by law. No other deductions will be made unless voluntarily agreed to by the employee. Bonuses/raises may be paid at employer discretion based on performance, skill, tenure. Wages will be paid bi-weekly on Friday, and the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.
The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amountof transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
Optional housing is available for rent to the H-2B worker at the rate of $94- $125 per week per worker, depending on the location. The amount will be deducted from the employee's paycheck if agreed upon. This is not a condition of employment. In the alternative, the employer will assist the worker to find suitable housing that is available within walking distance of the worksite.
