Devils Thumb Ranch is seeking two (2) Baggage Wranglers/Bellmen to work during the period of April 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026. The position is full-time and seasonal. The worksites are located at 3530 County Rd 83, Tabernash, Colorado 80478 and 78786 U.S 40, Winter Park, Colorado 80482.
The role of the Baggage Wrangler/Bell Man is to greet guests in Porte cache, open vehicle door for passengers, valet park car if needed and deliver luggage and vehicle keys to lodge room, retrieve vehicles and load luggage for guests departing, maintain integrity of front entrance and lobby, provide requested shuttle service when needed. Regarding the shuttle service duties, the Baggage Wrangler will drive a standard a small SUV as well as 12 passenger Van. The destinations can be up to 10 miles. Shuttles typically run a schedule, but guests can request unplanned transportation. A driver's license is required. Follow department and Ranch policies and procedures, assist Agents, Reservation Specialists, Night Auditor and PBX Operator, answer guest questions, be knowledgeable about other departments, be aware of guests and Ranch issues. Assist the General Manager, Lodging Director, and Guest Services Manager to ensure that the ranch is running at its best, the baggage wrangler will run small errands such as bringing mails or keys or complimentary champagne to the guests' rooms as directed by these personnel. Must be outgoing and friendly, enjoy working with the public, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Able to work independently or with other team members. Professionally dressed and carry a good attitude. Be flexible to the needs of the department and the Ranch. Basic computer/email knowledge required, possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to operate manual, automatic and diesel vehicles. Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds and be able to stand for long periods of time.
Employees will work Mon-Sun, an average of 35 hours/wk. Must be able to work any 7-hour shift within the time frames of 6 am to 11 pm any day of the week. Days off rotate, shifts vary, weekends and holidays are required. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, must be flexible, be able to communicate in English and be a team player. No minimum education is required.
On-the-job training is provided. The employer will provide workers with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no charge. Daily transportation is provided at no charge.
The wage is $21.62 per hour. All deductions will be made from paychecks that are required by law. No other deductions will be made unless voluntarily agreed to by the employee. Overtime is available at a rate of $32.43 per hour. Bonuses/raises may be paid at employer discretion based on performance, skill, tenure Wages will be paid bi-weekly on Friday, and the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.

The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distanceinvolved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
Optional housing is available for rent to the H-2B worker at the rate of $94- $125 per week per worker, depending on the location. The amount will be deducted from the employee's paycheck if agreed upon. This is not a condition of employment. In the alternative, the employer will assist the worker to find suitable housing that is available within walking distance of the worksite.
