This position is required to be on-site.

This position will be posted from Sept 15, 2025 - Oct 30th, 2025

This position is an exciting opportunity and will provide invaluable work experience in a growing company. This position is for a Summer 2026 internship which will last approximately 12 (US) weeks.

What you will do:

Learn industrial application of engineering skills.

Work closely with all disciplines, both corporate and plant, to understand existing processes and workflows.

Optimize process performance and compile de-bottleneck scenarios.

Utilize software packages such as PI Vision, Pipe-Flo, MixIT, Aspen Plus, & HTRI Xchanger.

Trend historical control system data to find opportunities to reduce cycle time.

Assist in equipment design and scoping.

Perform site visits and provide support to the Greeley, CO manufacturing location.

Assist in execution of Capital Projects.

What you will bring:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a graduation date of May 2027 or later.

Compensation & Benefits:

The hourly range for this role, in Loveland, CO, is between $23.62 - $27.09. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

We provide an attractive benefits package that includes catastrophic coverages including life, accidental death and dismemberment, and business travel accident insurance for a position of at least three months in duration and more than 30 hours per week. Our benefit package also demonstrates our culture of care with paid sick days and holidays as well as an Employee and Family Assistance Program. A Student or Intern role does not participate in any retirement savings or incentive programs. Nutrien will comply with benefit and retirement regulations, as necessary. Details of the benefits package will be shared in the application process.
