Competitive pay rate: $17/hr

Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM , with occasional overtime

3-month contract temp to hire

Collaborative role supporting customers via phone, email, chat, social media, and US mail

What's a typical day as a Customer Service Representative?

You'll be:

Assisting customers telephonically and non-telephonically with service and support issues

Resolving problems using department tools, resources, and expertise, partnering with stores/field teams as needed

Acting as a positive role model and supporting department and company objectives

Ensuring productivity, revenue generation, and quality standards are met

Handling a high volume of incoming/outgoing calls (40-60 incoming, 10-20 outgoing per day), emails (1-5 per day), and text messages (20-30 per day)

Providing courteous and professional communication at all times

Creating win-win resolutions to customer problems

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. minimum

Strong computer skills and ability to handle high call volume

Excellent communication and detail-oriented skills

Outgoing, people-oriented personality for incoming/outgoing calls

Experience in customer service or optical is desirable

Experience with Excel (creating sheets, formulas) and DVI software is a plus

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment

Location: Melvindale, MI 48122

Employment Type: ASAP start - March 31, 2026 (temp-to-hire)

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM, occasional OT

Pay Rate: $17/hr
