Decatur Security Officer (Unarmed) Arizona Charlie's Decatur (Las Vegas, NV)

Description:

Summary: Demonstrate superior customer service skills by helping with guest needs and to provide for the general safety and security of guest, employees and company assets.

Essential Functions:

Provide protection for all employees and guests of the casino and its assets.

Guard and provide physical transportation of all transfers of money and tokens on the casino floor including hopper fills, chip fills and credits.

Patrol all areas of the property including the casino, hotel towers, pool areas, stairwells and all areas to which advised.

Be alert for minors in the gaming areas and verify proof of age.

Assist guest with room keys, escorts and any questions and inquiries.

Respond to reports of guest and employee injuries or illness

Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations

Direct and assist in evacuation during emergency situations

Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications/Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent preferred

Must be at least 21 years of age

Previous security, law enforcement, military and/or EMT experience preferred

CPR/AED certification preferred

Required Work Cards

Alcohol Awareness

Gaming

Physical Requirements

Walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing, continuously standing, climbing, and working indoors (more than 75% of the time)

Working outdoors, running, jogging, wearing protective clothing (less than 25% of the time)

Hearing, vision, speech and literacy (critical)

Ability to work in smoky and noisy environment.

Ability to communicate vocally utilizing portable radios (critical)
