Automotive Technician

Overview: We are looking for a automotive technician for our full service and mobile auto shop. We are veteran owned and pride ourselves on being friendly and honest with our customers. We deliver top quality performance that leaves our customers happy with their experience. This is a Full Time position, you must be able to work 40 hours a week, more when necessary. Your hourly wage will directly reflect on your qualifications, certificates, and suitability to the job. Must have own tools. If you are interested in working for us, please fill out this questionnaire and we will reach out to you! https://forms.gle/Zpa6k5JyR6R3qiaT8 Responsibilities and Duties: -Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately -Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade -Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity -Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use -Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks) -Keep logs on work and issues -Maintain equipment and tools in good condition -Must be able to assist and lead other technicians when they need help. -Must be patient and able to teach when necessary. -There will be times when Dale is out of the shop and you will be in charge of running the shop and keeping things moving and communicating with the office. Requirements: -You must be able to work independently as well as with a team. -Cooperation and listening to others are necessary skills for excellence in this field. -Customer service is essential and being able to interact and clearly express situations to --customers is a need. -Lifting heavy materials is sometimes necessary in this field of work. We require the ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds. -Standing for the majority, if not all, of your shift is required. -Problem solving is something that you will come face to face with everyday in our shop and you need to be able to think through situations and ask for help when necessary. -Cleanliness is something we strive for and you must be able to clean up after yourself and keep your station clean while performing your job duties. -Timeliness is necessary, you must be able to show up on time, complete tasks in a timely manner, and finish up, clean up, and clock off on time daily. Qualifications: -\Must own your own tools\ -25 years or older -10 years minimum relevant experience -Management Experience Proffered -Full Time availability -Valid Driver\'s License -Clean Driving record required for Mobile Technician position (We do require you to provide a DMV report as proof) -Must have knowledge of gas, diesel, and other equipment (such as boats, RV\'s, and others) -Any additional experience with bodywork, welding, off-road equipment, and other specialties are a bonus. -Must have computer diagnostic experience -Able to lift 75+ pounds -Able to stand for an 8 hour shift -Other licenses and certificates are a bonus and preferred but not required
