Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Junior Aeronautical Engineer to join our team in King of Prussia, PA!

As an Aeronautical Engineer with the Strategic Reentry Programs Aerothermal team team you will provide support to various missile programs. You will support multiple team's performance related to the modeling and simulation of hypersonic flight vehicles. You will work in a small, fast moving team on concept-level vehicle analysis, study of hypersonic aerodynamics, as well as the design of proposed experimental hardware and instrumentation. In this role, you will perform complex Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) calculations and manipulate CFD data.

Basic Qualifications:

Knowledge of Fluid Dynamics and/or Thermodynamics
Matlab or other programming language experience
Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance; must be a US Citizen

Desired Skills:
BS degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or similar Engineering Degree from accredited school
Familiar with Computational Fluid Dynamic solvers including CFD++, US3D, CART3D
Familiar with with Wind Tunnel Testing
Active DoD Top Secret security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
