Our client, a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer, is seeking a Design Engineer II to join their team. As a Design Engineer II, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Product Development Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent collaboration abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Design Engineer II

Location: Bethel, CT

Pay Range: $45.67/hr - $50.48/hr

What's the Job?

Lead the design and development of new products or systems from concept to production.

Create detailed CAD drawings and models of components and assemblies.

Conduct engineering analysis, including FEA, tolerance analysis, and simulations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met.

Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

3-6 years of experience in product design or engineering.

Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).

Strong understanding of engineering principles and analysis tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
