The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period for Natchez Trace Parkway is April - September but the season may be extended or reduced due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. The incumbent will carry out a broad range of responsibilities, starting with being the main point of contact for HR matters within the organization. This includes overseeing various HR functions like recruiting, bringing new employees onboard, advising on employee benefits, and tracking performance evaluations and award submissions. In addition, this position involves providing guidance and support to both employees and management by offering advice on personnel policies and professional development opportunities. As part of the office services, the Administrative Support Assistant is also in charge of handling administrative tasks such as managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and ensuring effective communication throughout the organization. This experience includes activities such as: performing administrative functions such as payroll, personnel, travel, and/or correspondence, using office procedures and equipment, organizing and analyzing numerical information, and meeting and dealing effectively with others.
