Serve as a professional admissions officer for domestic graduate,

international graduate, and international undergraduate applicants.

Verify, interpret, review, and evaluate applications and required

documentation for University admission and specific program criteria.

Counsel and advise applicants, staff, and parents on admission

requirements, criteria, financial calculations, eligibility, policies, and procedures.

Function as a Designated School Official and evaluate international

educational systems, analyze course content, calculate GPAs, and interpret international credentials.

Compose written materials and conduct extensive correspondence with

applicants about requirements and application status.

Enter, review, interpret, update, and retrieve data in Banner,

Slate, document imaging, and related systems.

Participate in team projects and perform additional duties

supporting the department\'s mission to ensure efficient and accurate admission decisions.

\ \ FLSA: Non-Exempt\ \ Minimum Acceptable Qualifications\ \ CREDENTIALS TO BE VERIFIED BY PLACEMENT OFFICER\

High school diploma or equivalent.

Any one or combination totaling three (3) years (36 months) from the categories below: course work in any discipline as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:

30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)

60 semester hours or an Associate\'s Degree equals eighteen

months (18 months)

90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)

120 semester hours or a Bachelor\'s degree equals three (3)

years (36 months) work experience in administrative support, admissions and enrollment, customer service, public relations, records management, or closely related experience.

\ \ Preferred Qualifications:\ Baccalaureate degree and two years of related student records analysis work, records management work, or collegiate admissions work, one year of which must have been in the supervision of such work or at a comparable level of responsibility.
