As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control Driver in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. This is a driving post. You will play a key role in fostering a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing facility, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.

Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities within the location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and surrounding perimeter to observe and report unusual activity.

Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries and directions as needed.

Document and report security-related incidents and/or irregularities, maintaining accurate records as required by Allied Universal and the client site.

Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address security-related concerns and improve procedures.

Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and directing personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
