For more information, visit www.gf.com.Summary of Role:We are looking for a Principal Post Fab Planner to join the Post Fab Planning Team in Global Supply Chain (GSC). This individual must be a US citizen and will be stationed in GlobalFoundries Fab 8 in Malta and tasks to enable GlobalFoundries manufacturing execution within our Post Fab Team and OSAT partners.Essential Responsibilities:You will be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:Responsible for activities related to controlling, scheduling, and managing the flow of production from wafer start to distribution of finished product.Chair Daily / Weekly meeting to review the operational performanceDrive the Post Fab Operation and Engineering Team to meet Customer Delivery.Analyzing any potential shipment gap and providing alternative solutions.Identifies and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.Proactively identifies and solves the most complex problems that impact customers and the direction of the business.Acts independently in solving problems with minimum guidance.Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.Other Responsibilities:Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.Required Qualifications:Education - Degree/master's in engineering is preferred. Degree in other discipline with 6-8 years of relevant experience will be considered.Experience - At least 3 years' experience in Planning & Production Control. Those with Post Fab experience will be an added advantage.Direct expertise in Semiconductor backend process, packing, assembly & test and OSAT experience.Excellent writing, editing, oral communications and project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.Ability to interact with all levels of organization.Ability to develop and maintain collaborative business relationships with stakeholders.Fluency in English Language - written & verbalStrong planning & organizational skills.Expected Salary Range$66,800.00 - $120,700.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.The role you are applying for may require you to obtain a US Department of Defense Security Clearance at some time during your employment.
