Landscape Construction Worker

Company is looking for Five (5) full-time temporary hard-working responsible workers who will assist senior crew leaders as landscape construction workers and perform a variety of tasks using manual and motorized tools and machinery to help build custom landscapes per developer designs. DUTIES include: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, planting, weeding, grubbing, trimming, watering, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls; mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers; decorate gardens with stones or plants; plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs, and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools; haul or spread topsoil, or spread straw over seeded soil to hold soil in place; maintain irrigation systems, including winterizing the systems and starting them up in spring; excavate small trenches for sprinkler pipes (approx. 6 wide and 18 deep), pulling, cutting and gluing PVC sprinkler pipe, installing sprinkler lines, heads, and valves, clean up site; maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, or benches; mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders; provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, burial sites, or other grounds features; prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, rake, mulch, and compost leaves; when needed shovel snow and ice from walks, driveways, or parking lots, and spread salt in those areas. TOOLS include both manual and motorized including mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters or pruning saws, shovels, hammers, and saws, as well as assisting senior team members with motorized machinery, such as a Ditch Witch and a Skid Steer. Employer provides all tools and transportation to various job sites.

Temporary Need, Compensation, and Schedule: Anticipated start date is April 1 2026 continuing to November 1 2026 . Each worker will be paid a minimum of \$16.86/hour, work an average of 40 hours/week, and if overtime is available the rate would be \$25.29/hour. The standard work schedule is generally from 7:00 AM until 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. 3/4th Guarantee. Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Single Workweek Guarantee and Frequency of Pay: A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. The payroll period is bi-weekly. Workers are paid by check on Fridays.

Worksite: 332 Lavender, Chubbuck, Idaho 83202 USA. Education and Work Experience:None required.Availability of On-the-Job Training: Not Applicable.Daily Transportation: Daily transportation to and from the worksite(s) will be provided by Employer at no charge to the employee. Tools, Equipment, and Supplies: Employer will provide at no charge to the employee, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.

Inbound and Outbound Transportation: For workers who complete 50% or more of the work contract period, the Employer will pay or reimburse workers for subsistence expenses incurred traveling from the place the worker was recruited from to the place of employment. If the worker either completes the work contract period or is terminated without cause and the worker has no immediate subsequent H-2B employment, the Employer will pay or reimburse the worker\'s subsistence expenses incurred traveling from the place of employment back to the place the worker came from to work for the employer. Federal Daily Subsistence:Current DOL regulations require daily subsistence to be provided at a rate during travel from a daily \$16.28/day to a maximum of \$68/day with receipts/documentation.

Provision of Lodging, Board, or other Facilities: Employer has no legal responsibility to provide board, lodging, or other facilities. Deductions from Workers Paycheck: The Employer will make all payroll deductions required by law but will not make any deductions which are not required by law. By mutual agreement, an OPTIONAL loan/advance up to \$500 USD/worker for personal expenses, and OPTIONAL housing is available for up to \$500/ month/worker. Payment of loan/advance or monthly rent will be deducted from workers paychecks.

Reimbursement of Border, Visa, COVID-19 and related fees: The Employer will reimburse an H2B worker in the first work week for any mandatory visa, visa processing, border crossing, COVID-19 testing and other related fees (except passport fees), including any costs or fees mandated by the government that are incurred by the H2B worker. A list of those expenses and fees should be given to Employer upon arrival.
