NORTHAMPTON Communications and Marketing Coordinator The Communications
and Marketing Coordinator will support Valley?s external marketing and
communications work including social media, newsletters, workshop
promotion, and fundraising events and communications. The position will
also work with small business clients to support marketing and
communications needs. This part time position will be responsible for
welcoming clients in office and answering basic questions about the
services we provide when necessary. Our ideal candidate will be adept at
communicating information to diverse audiences across mediums. You will
have a strong work ethic and be passionate about the work we do. We seek
a flexible, collaborative, and dependable team player, who enjoys
working with others and who is excited to learn about our mission.
Specific duties will include: Marketing Tasks Oversee social media to
increase awareness of Valley programs Support small business clients
with marketing needs Proactively update Valley?s website Create print
and online collateral for workshops and fundraising Create online
newsletter Administrative Tasks: Staff the front desk at Valley?s office
Enter donations into a fundraising database and print acknowledgements
(approximately 150 donors/year) Order occasional office supplies
Qualifications: Proven experience with communications work (print,
online) Enjoys working with and communicating to diverse audiences
Proficiency in MS Office and WordPress Salary and Benefits This is an
in-person position, and the salary range is \$25-28/hour. This is a
non-exempt hourly position. Hours for the position are negotiable within
an expected range of 15 to 20 hours per week. Hours are generally
scheduled between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday. Valley?s full-time
benefits include 15 vacation days, 2 personal days, 15 sick leave days,
and 13 paid holidays. Benefits for part-time employees are prorated
based on hours worked. In addition, all employees receive a paid week
off in December, and Valley contributes 5% to a 401(k) retirement plan.
