Sales Representative

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Representative to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role involves providing comprehensive support for sales activities, managing purchase orders, and ensuring the seamless organization of materials for multiple construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Process sales orders efficiently and accurately to meet project timelines.

Prepare and manage purchase orders while ensuring compliance with pricing agreements.

Organize materials and inventory for multiple construction projects, maintaining oversight of supplies.

Coordinate receipt of goods and reconcile them with company systems.

Monitor and analyze pricing details on purchase orders to ensure accuracy and adherence to special pricing agreements.

Identify and address discrepancies in accounting data, including coding errors and numerical inaccuracies.

Support the sales team by providing timely and accurate information related to inventory and materials.

Utilize advanced knowledge of Sage 100 and Microsoft Office Suite to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues effectively. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales support or related role.

Proficiency in Sage 100 software is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of purchasing activities and inventory management.

Familiarity with commercial construction projects and their material requirements.

Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Business-minded with a sharp attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
