As a Security Guard - Armed Aero Patrol in Wichita, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This armed and driving post involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining visibility, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas within the location.

Document and report any suspicious activities, incidents, or hazards observed during patrols.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within the aero and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles is required.

An armed guard card or license is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
