POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for administrative support in general office responsibilities and clerical duties. The office coordinator is responsible for assigned tasks that are diverse and complex in nature. Is the first contact for applicants, patients and other departmental personnel, both in person and on the phone. Effective communication skills are required due to level of contact with all levels of the organization. Coordinator accepts direction from the Executive Director, Director of Human Resources, Director of Finance, and Billing Manager in the daily operation of the administrative office. Must have the ability to prioritize projects and tasks on a daily basis and demonstrate customer service focused behaviors.\ \

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Serve as \"Receptionist\" to the MPA administrative office by

greeting, announcing arrivals and directing people where to go in the office

Represents the department to all callers and visitors. Must be

familiar with all functions of the MPA to refer accurately

Demonstrate a customer service-focused mentality and behaviors with

both internal and external customers

Answer and direct department phones and relay messages in a timely

manner

Provide Courier with daily deposit and correspondence

Distribute all Courier-delivered material in a timely manner

Prepare all outgoing mail and assist with FedEx and UPS shipments

Responsible for picking up, sorting, and distributing the mail daily

for the MPA

Maintain inventory of office & kitchen supplies and orders as needed

Prepare Check Requests for Office Supply Vendors and submit to

Accounts Payable

Orders coding & MSSC Roster books

Back up the Administrative Assistant and Office for: scheduling,

phones, generating outgoing mail, FedEx/UPS Coordinator when he/she is out of the office.

Ordering and sending out birthday cards, decorating staff desks for

birthdays, etc.

Ordering business cards.

Order equipment necessary for business operations such as computers,

print order, stamps, etc..

Assist with inventory control

Printer contracts verification, toner ordering, and updating lists

Provider CME entries

Roster Updates and Attestation with Insurances

CAQH Review & Attestations

Coding enrollment forms

Expirable documents KS DL/KS provider

Licenses/DEAs/Certificates/etc.

Filing for HR/Admin

Creating personnel files for HR

Reliable Attendance and Punctuality

Other duties as assigned.
