Summary This position serves as an Emergency Services Dispatcher with the Fire and Emergency Services Division located at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC). RRMC is on one of the Nation's premier facilities, providing support to various Department of Defense (DoD) tenants in an all-hazards environment. Responsibilities Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Receives and evaluates 911 emergency calls. Provides assistance to callers with medical emergencies, using knowledge and skills while activating the response. Participates in the management of the organization by performing routine administrative and miscellaneous clerical duties. Utilizes special computer programs within central dispatch. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Mission Essential Position: Mission Essential employees may be required to report for, or remain at, work in dismissal or closure situations due to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or other emergency situations (e.g., building closure due to power outage) as well as emergency preparedness exercises, and are required to maintain contact with their supervisor during any dismissal or closure situation unless specifically excused by their supervisor.
