Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Goshen, Indiana. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable transactions while managing a high volume of invoices across multiple entities. Responsibilities:

Process and review invoices with precision to maintain accuracy and compliance.

Handle vendor setup and ensure proper documentation, including obtaining and managing W-9 forms.

Manage high-volume accounts payable operations across multiple entities within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Organize and process incoming mail, statements, and other financial documents.

Perform account coding and ensure proper classification of expenses.

Conduct check runs and process ACH payments in a timely manner.

Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors.

Utilize training materials and system guides to optimize workflows and avoid pitfalls.

Maintain a detailed record of transactions for reconciliation and reporting purposes.

Assist with onboarding new vendors and ensuring their integration into the system. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or related field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Strong knowledge of invoice coding and expense classification.

Familiarity with ACH payments and check processing.

Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in data entry tasks.

Ability to manage multiple entities and prioritize workload effectively.

Solid organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Effective communication skills for vendor and team collaboration.
