Job Title: Construction Laborer Job Description

Join our team as a Construction Laborer, where you will be instrumental in building platforms, sheds, roofs, and temporary walls. You will utilize your basic carpentry skills to construct metal and wood studded frames, lay and move temporary plastic walls and coverings, and perform general labor as needed. Your role will also involve moving snow blankets and tarps in the winter months, shoveling snow in construction areas, conducting basic clean-up of the job site daily, and lifting up to 50 pounds as necessary.

Responsibilities

Build platforms, sheds, roofs, and temporary walls.

Perform basic carpentry tasks with metal and wood studded frames.

Lay and move temporary plastic walls and coverings.

Conduct general labor work as needed for each area.

Move snow blankets and tarps during the winter months.

Shovel snow in construction areas as required.

Perform basic daily clean-up of the job site.

Lift up to 50 pounds as necessary.

Essential Skills

General labor experience in construction.

Basic carpentry skills.

Experience with power tools and hand tools.

Ability to work with concrete.

1 year of carpentry experience in residential or commercial building.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must be able to provide own carpentry tools & PPE.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Billings, MT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
