As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Entry Control in Gary, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. You will play a key role in fostering a welcoming environment by delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location, following all site-specific policies and procedures.

Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the facility, maintaining detailed records of all access activities.

Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and directions.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner as outlined in Allied Universal procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or security-related concerns.

Observe and report any irregularities, such as security breaches, property damage, or unusual occurrences, to appropriate personnel.

Work collaboratively with site management and Allied Universal team members to carry out emergency response activities when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
