Are you just starting out in your career in freight forwarding? Kelly has a client, a global leader in freight forwarding and international logistics, who is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Air Export Agent to join their team at DFW Airport. This position offers the opportunity to work with a company known for operational excellence and global presence in air freight.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:30 PM

What You'll Be Doing:

As an Air Export Agent, you'll coordinate and manage international air shipments from start to finish. Key responsibilities include:

Preparing air export documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, SLIs, and AES filings

Booking cargo space with airlines and coordinating pickups with truckers

Monitoring flight schedules and shipment progress

Ensuring all shipments comply with U.S. Customs and international export regulations

Providing clients with timely shipment updates and resolving any issues or delays

Submitting RFQs and quotes and supporting pricing strategy

Processing billing and ensuring invoice accuracy

Inspecting outgoing freight and ensuring it is ready for transport

Why You'd Be a Great Fit:

High school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years of air export or freight forwarding experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive shipments

Weekend availability as needed
