Our Enterprise IT Internship is designed to make a direct impact on a broad variety of projects. You must be motivated to deliver innovative capabilities that directly impact some of GDIT's most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects across the country.??
A Day in the Life?
Assist in researching, designing, developing, and/or modifying enterprise-wide or customer systems.?
Assist in performing systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.?
Assist in testing, diagnosing, and fixing incidents.?
Participates in large system and subsystem planning.?
Help ensure that applications and systems are compliant with established quality standards and meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.?
Participate in special projects as required.?
Supports the completion of technical tasks.
Assists with the solutions to technical problems of limited scope.
Assists with the coordination for new products, software, upgrades, and equipment.
Assists with documentation for processes and procedures related to computer systems and operations.
Must Haves
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or master's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar discipline.?
Ability to actively collaborate with others.
Strong computer skills in MS Office (Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
Ability to manage projects and prioritize competing requirements in a fast-paced environment.

GDITInternship
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $22.95 - $31.05. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

To encourage work/life balance, GDIT offers employees full flex work weeks where possible and a variety of paid time off plans, including vacation, sick and personal time, holidays, paid parental, military, bereavement and jury duty leave. GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee's date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
