We're seeking a motivated Staff Accountant who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and contributing to the overall success of the finance team. In this position, you'll manage the full Accounts Payable process and have the opportunity to identify and implement improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy. While Accounts Receivable is minimal, a working knowledge of AR will help you support the team as needed. You'll play a key role in the month-end close, assisting with GL coding, performing daily and monthly reconciliations, and analyzing revenue and balance sheet accounts to quickly identify and resolve discrepancies.

You will also support the audit process, help code and maintain the fixed asset and prepaid expense budgets, and manage the annual 1099 reporting-including gathering vendor information, ensuring documentation accuracy, and preparing and distributing 1099 forms.

Requirements - Proficiency in general ledger accounting practices.

Experience with month-end close procedures.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) processes.

Familiarity with Form 1099 reporting requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Competency in using accounting software and tools.
